As of the end of July individual contributions have totaled $128,922, just over half of the budgeted contributions ($245,000 of the total budget of $354,000) for the year. Covid Advisory Update / August 17, 2021

Cases of COVID and hospitalizations continued to dramatically increase in the last week in NC with the Delta variant continuing to drive the outbreak. There has been an increase from 215 new COVID cases per day 7/1/21 to 6628 new COVID cases 8/13/21. The state’s positivity rate of COVID tests performed has continued to be much higher than the benchmark for the state (12.8 % this week with a benchmark of 5%).
