Graveyard Tour and Book Launch / May 27

Max Carter will lead a (day called) Memorial Day cemetery tour at 10:00 a.m. on Fifth Month, 27. The tour will cover not only the usual themes of the day but also highlight the contributions of burial ground residents to  peace and justice work. Free Firewood

In the New Garden Friends Meeting lawn, down by the playground area, there are three trunk sections of pecan, already cut to firewood length and free for the taking. All you have to do is come and get it.

New Garden Has a Defibrillator

The Red Cross will offer a CPR course and provide training in the use of our new defibrillator. The total training will take a little over three hours, and we hope to offer this on a Sunday in May or June, provided there is sufficient interest.
